Mongolian cloud service expands to Central Asia

Mongolian tech company Fibo Cloud has signed an agreement to provide cloud services to 10 Tier-III standard data centers of Transtelecom located in nine cities of Kazakhstan, one of the largest telecommunications operators in the country. This cooperation agreement is the first major agreement for a Mongolian company to export technology to Central Asia. Within the agreement, USD 1.5 million will be invested annually.

Fibo Cloud is a cloud-native developer company from Mongolia. The company provides AWS (Amazon Web Services) consulting services to help organizations use cloud technology efficiently and at a lower cost. The company has introduced its innovative products and services such as FIBO stack (A private cloud solution) and Itools Cloud Services (the largest public cloud service in the country).

As the only official partner of Amazon in Mongolia, Fibo Cloud aims to bring world-class services to Mongolia through the introduction of cloud technology, training and consulting services, and the development of effective architectures.

Efforts are being made to intensify the digital transition in Mongolia. According to the “E-Government Development Index”, which is updated every two years by the United Nations, Mongolia ranked 74th out of 193 countries in 2022.
