Mongolian rescue team provided medical aid to 649 victims

The people of Mongolia sent 12 tonnes of relief goods such as gers (yurts), blankets, and water to the people of Turkey,  affected by the earthquake. In addition, Mongolian search and rescue teams worked in Turkey.

Mongolian rescue teams who worked at the disaster site provided medical aid and services to a total of 649 victims, including:

Also, eight people were rescued, while the bodies of 19 people were taken out and handed over to the relevant authorities.

A search and rescue team consisting of 35 people and two tracking dogs left for Turkey on February 8th. As part of this humanitarian aid, Mongolian government has sent five tonnes of meat, one tonne of candle, 1,000 blankets.
